We owe it all to you… One nifty Black Country villager didn’t want to waste any mouth-watering porky goodness. So, cooked pig rind was given a go and scratchings were born!
High Street Butchers start cashing in!
Scratchings hit the High Street with traditional British butchers cooking up Pork Crackling and seasoning with salt. Of course, the public soon arrived in hordes to get a crunch on the action.

We got a new face, with 60 years under his belt, Mr Porky felt it time to hand over to the next generation of the Porky family, he just so happens to be called Mr. Porky too!

We were so bowled with our 2019 Great Taste awards we thought we’d go the whole hog and see how we’d fare with our Original Scratchings and won yet another 2-star award! Cheers!
